As i told the guy that e mailed me

this livery didn't exist when i built the Hawk model

the one with the huge roundel came out just after i was told Red Arrows only for the Skysim package so the mapping never went far

all the liveries before these 2 fitted fine including the St Athan Dragon pair

I painted a dozen paints on the Hawk to check the fit and they did

Game over as i am not part of Skysim and have not been for over a year

Hi Garry

I wouldn't mind but where did i say i was at LotusSim's level :dunno:

Smoothie has given me a good slagging on 2 forums i know about so far  (you could always make your own mate!)

I can paint the Hawk so it fits (possibly not the 2010 display livery) ;) as it didn't exist. (yes it's a fiddle to paint but it works)

I have never slagged off a developer in public as i live in a glass house myself

All i said was are the colours correct on the repaint. (they may well be correct)

not having a go at Dave (UKMIL) at all just asking a question thats all

I use FSDS3 which is ab absolute B****** to map anything accurately with and SkySim's decision to be Red Arrows only ment i didn't correct the problem as no livery at that time would not fit

if i used Max or GMAX and lithunwrap it would be spot on but i don't.

yes it's far from perfect but i didn't say it or any of my stuff ever was

I learned a lot from making the Hawk and i map far better because of it

Regards
Rick ;)
