Nice one Trev. Did a Joint Services Parachute Training Course there in the mid 70's so this is definately going to be added to my growing FSX collection  Looking forward to Abingdon too ;)

I was asked to 'take one step forward' by a PJI from a bloody barrage balloon there, whilst doing basic ALM training at Brize in the late 70's, so it fits in with me making airfields that have a personal connection. Bicester was an ATC annual camp too in 1973, and Abingdon just needs to be in FSX!

I volunteered Trev so I have no excuse  First thing we all saw was the balloon and come the day of our first jump.. we were all a little surprised to see a Cessna land. We're not jumping out of THAT are we?? :-O We were indeed. No balloons for us rabble

Looking great Trev!

I recognise that road in the first shot, god knows how many times the Wife and I drove along that stretch en route from Newbury to Bedford to see the Outlaws.

I really must invest in GenX scenery, its making me homesick!

Great stuff.

Looks brilliant Trev, used to pass Weston-on the-Green when driving down to Brize Norton collecting VOGs' when stationed at Scampton.
