Helis rides at Calipsos's Oxenhope for FSX

Post by monirgeadah »

My thanks to Trevor Clark for his marvellous Oxenhope for FSX.

I may have been forgiven for not using Trevor's trees for the area as I had allready thousands of them from the old FS9 Oxenhope addon,on My AIO folder.

I Also deleted [ renamed ] the Extravegitation.bgl. as well as the windfarm.bgl.

I have allready the superb windfarm By Arfa's included in his Emely Moore scenery addon.

I hope You can watch this 5 minutes video in HD plus in full screen too. Please comment and rate if possible.

I used Rick's Bristol Sycamore and my private heli to enjoy those marvellous scenery and animations to the full. Can only be done with a helicopter of the right make

If the video show slight flickerring then may be watch it again in a little while as Youtube sometime takes few hours after the appearance of the link on their web site, to process the video fully.

Regards,thanks and best wishes

Hi Monir, I didn't realise you were a member here too!

I am DL'ing the basic version of your video (I have a connection of almost dial up speed  ) and look forward to seeing Oxenhope from another prospective. I have just come across another FSX version (unkown to me at the time) and built this as a request from the Horizon forum. After that job, the flatten and blend at Hamble suddenly got quite easy!!

Hi Monir :hello:

It certainly shows the detail  Unfortunately, it also left me feeling a little nausious mate. This probably wouldn't have happened had a) I been flying myself or b) some internal reference had have been visible (panel window) or c) it had been shot outside. Never had this happen before. A mate of mine who has a PPL can't use flightsim as it makes him feel nausious. I thought it was blx to be honest but there you go.. felt it for myself now

As real as it gets!!!

Want a 'qwell' Dave?

At least I know that the scenery works (the same as I see it) on another machine, nice video but needs a little music I think......theme from Last of the Summer Wine possibly?

Thanks Trevor and Dave for your feedback and constructive criticism.

First.. I do not think that Youtube processed the video or decoded it as well this time ?? why ? it looks great on my computer before beeing uploaded.

Second ...may be the size of ones Broad band service does make a difference ?? I happen to have a fast cable service from Vergin.

I was trying to cover as much of this vast scenery as possible without the cockpit panel masking some scenery. I will take Dave points on board and try things differently next time.

Trevor I will try to post some screen shots [ 600x800 ] ASAP

Regards and best wishes

Hi Trevor

I do not know yet how to do a video with music. I think the sound of the heli engine would be enough if you up the volume a bit ??

Here is few screen shots of those lovely scenery.
