Hi Nigel. Glad you're enjoying it. My only complaint is that it gives so many fantastic options for your FS environment. Having spent hours trying out many different set-ups and themes - all of which are equally wonderful - I finally succumbed to 'lazy' mode. I've created my own 'global' theme and loaded it into FS but still use the FS weather menu. Although the REX weather engine is far superior to the FS9 one, as you say sometimes you just want to fly 8)

You'll be pleased to know that you can still use the standard weather themes within FS (including RW weather) and you still benefit from the glorious clouds and colours of REX. So although you can spend all day fiddling with it to achieve the optimum, you can just fly if you want to.

Ian :)

Hi Ian, as you said, you can use the standard FS weather themes and this is now what I have disiplined myself to do, once I am happy with the cloud sky, cloud amd other numerous and far too many to mention themes within REX I load 'em up and will keep them at that setting for at least a week before again making any changes. The one thing I have noticed though and that is with the cumulus clouds, if you set them from 2/8ths to 4/8ths they sometimes appear too rounded but that is only a minor issue, on the whole it is brilliant!!

Regards
Nigel.

Of course, the other problem with it is that you keep seeing unexpected stuff that you want to take a screenie of and show everybody else.

... like this :worried:
