Loss of runway lights

Apologies that this is a general FS issue and not related to a product or addon. I've lost me runway lights! Am running FS2004 and seldom fly at night (someone once said that most birds don't so I figured neither should I!) but on a recent evening mission I realised I had no runway or taxi lighting at any airport, be it default FS or any addon. I've also lost the wing lights on my POSKY fleet now I come to look closer, though all other aircraft lighting seems fine.

I obviously have a corrupted file somewhere. Can anyone throw any light (groan!) on this for me, please?

Hi mate...similar thing happens to me in FS9....i got half the runway lights closest to me on landing visible but the distant half is missing until i get closer..

..not sure if this is the same problem or something different...so hopefully someone will be along to help us soon....

I've just re-installed my FS...I've got my light back but it'll take me ages to optimise my settings again....

Next time it miught be an idea to save your FS CFG and go for a repair install.

That would have kept all your setting and just replaced the base files....once you put your old cfg back in
