Re the Vulcan, I think I managed the quick start in ~45 seconds but then I never figured out the normal start procedure!

Reference the Sea Gladiator, it did have a tailhook, and a dinghy pack between the main gear although that was often removed for a small performance gain. The four Gladiators that defended Malta were actually Sea Gladiators one of the carriers had left behind in boxes although I don't know if they put the hooks on when they were re-assembled.

Ahhhhhh.. bagged the 'X' C130 in the CS sale

A few annoyances with it.. the additional windows disappearing when you pop outside then pop inside again but worth the dosh for the full Pro pack ;)

Hi Garry..

It pains me to say it but this entire thread has been conducted on the :OB: I already have the Herc for FS9 (and the Ark too for that matter) but she's (the Ark that is) a non-moving bgl in the old sim. I don't have any trouble finding her there mind you

TONY... :hello:
No.. not quite. FS9 = serious stuff.. FSX = playtime. FS9+ships.. crapola, FSX+ships.. a lot more fun ;)

Nah.. not just yet ;)

Who's is the Bucc btw?? Also.. where is that Nimitz. I downloaded the multipack from FSShipyards last week but have yet to see it in the flesh as it doesn't come with a traffic file and I'm still not au fait with the vagueries of FSX 8)

The Bucc is the AS version...ports nicely into FSX available here....http://www.alphasim.co.uk/as_freeware.html

The Nimitz is available from here Dave....http://www.flightsim.com/file.php

Used with AI Carriers you can place it anywhere in front of you whilst flying your fav bird...you can have many different deck configs and support ships with her....a great ship IMHO and very very FPS friendly....
