If anyone needs it here's my AI carriers.cfg entry that shows the Ark

[formation.8]
title=Ark Royal, Clemenceau and 5 escorts
unit.0=Ark_Royal, -200, 0
unit.1=VEH_cruiser01, 0, 800
unit.2=VEH_cruiser01, 1200, 0
unit.3=VEH_destroyer01, 0, 0
unit.4=VEH_cruiser01, -1200, 0
unit.5=VEH_destroyer01, 400, -400
unit.6=VEH_water_tanker03_sm, -400, -400

I don't have the Clemenceau and 5 escorts yet so substituted default entries which work okay.

Think I need to tweak my AI Carrier settings. Not only are all my ships stationary when I do get them going the wake is all broken?

Hi Dog Tail... the Wake will break like that as the ship pitches. Admitedly its not pretty, but its just how it is.

I'm seeing strange lines emanating from Victorious?

Cranking the graphics settings up and it's looking good.
Those lines converge to where ever the spot view is.

Yes mate.. have you just slewed to get to that view?? I've seen that on the odd occassion too.. most disconcerting but it goes as soon as you're on the move.. that is, out of slew :) I've been thinking about the Aerosoft Cat. The screenies only show one 'Brit' paint and it has a VINGTOR flag on the nose. Is that all you get other than the US/oddball/Calypso paints?? Can's justify the dosh if there's no correct UK paint for it I'm afraid *-)

Hi Dave, re. the Cat. That's the only British paint in the pack, but there's a couple of others available for download

Hi Dog Tail,

Yes as Dave says for some reason that appears when you Slew, I have no idea why it does it, but I used to get exactly the same thing as I moved around her in slew mode to check on the textures during development.

Annoying I know, but hopefully not too much to put you off using her.

Thanks for those links Dave.. I'm warming to it now :thumbsup: If you're only going to fly something every now and again.. AND the model is payware.. it has to have at least ONE paint you're comfortable being seen in and those 2 fit the bill nicely ;)

DTR..
I see those 'wake breaks' on all my FSX carriers. It's cr@p I know but not half as bad as when the AI ships slow to a stop for a turn (which they do very badly.. even in the 'be all and end all FSX'). Follow Victorious out of Scapa and you'll see what I mean 8) . The more I see of FSX.. while being impressed with the 'ship' involvement.. there are gaping holes in the much heralded MP which the Himalayas could be dropped into and not hit the bottom. I think this is why there's so much eye candy (god.. I hate that term) :rant: Scrape a little below the surface and you don't find a lot there.

DaveB checked the AH Sea Hurricane VC and no holes everything seems to be there.
