Prentice

Post by kikko »

One question, please: in my freeware download archive , I have a Percival Prentice, G-APJB. A good model, with good textures, pilot animated, good average VC etc. etc. , stencils on wings. White and clear blue textures. The file is named Prentice beta 1. May be this one was a beta version for Air Atlantique programmed and never materialised planes collection? Who was the brave author?
I wonder why I don't find a RAF repaints of this nice model... *-)

Hi Kikko :hello:

That definately sounds like the Air Atlantique beta. Not sure if it was ever finished and can't, off the top of my head, remember who's it was *-) It was mentioned somewhere here quite recently but I can't remember where 8) Not a good day for remembering things :(

As I remember a bunch of us tried to contact the builder to see if we could obtain the source files
he never answered so I guess its binned -- Pete Watkins played around making some paints for it
but its very much a half finished model
