TCAS from DBS

Post by WhisperJet »

Hi everyone,

just a quick note - as I think we were talking about a TCAS for the commercial planes one day.
DBS just launched one, please have a look:

Sadly they don't tell if it works with add-on models too... *-)

Cheers,

You can add TCAS capability to the stock FS9/FSX GPS 500 unit very easily. You can also add terrain shadows to the GPS display too. I have done both in FSX and it works really well.

Bill Leaming put up a couple of tutorials on how to do it over at the FS.com forums, the links are below:

You have to edit the XML file in 'Notepad' but it is easy to do and full instructions and the code are provided.

I had a quick mail to DBS inspiring them to adapt their TCAS for DM's One-Eleven!

Please have a look... :)
