Wilco A380 half price

Post by spatialpro »

The Wilco A380 is half price this weekend only...

... but what are people's opinions of it?? Even at just £10 I'd still like to know before I invest...

Wilco stuff has a fair reputation Andy though I don't possess any of their models. Downloaded a freeware A380 a while back and it was a bit of a giggle to fly (not bad either) but hampered by using the default 747 panel. For a tenner.. it might be worth indulging yourself ;)

Hi Andy,

I own their A320, a welldone add-on, great depth but weighs heavy on the system - poor frame rates...

If you haven't read that already - here's a detailed review on Wilco's A380.

Looks nice and well worth a tenner if you want an A.380

I do think the undercarriage retraction was a bit quick though *-)

Thanks for your advice guys. I've got to say the VC doesn't look that great. I know the VC isn't everything, but then it is where I'd be spending most of my time. On that basis I'm likely to give it a miss. £10 is still £10 that could be spent on something else.

Yes, beer is a great idea! :D

I've gotta say I'm becoming more particular about what I buy for FS these days, mostly because I have precious enough time to fly the aircraft I'm already passionate about, let alone try new ones. I'm also a big believer in more freeware stuff for FSX.
