Re: VFR Gen X...
Finally got the GEN X installed, had to use the old v.1 installer to get the v.2 DVDs to work...seems to work a treat, over 100 FPS looks a tad good.

Re: VFR Gen X...
Quick question....With VFR Gen X how do you get rid of blurred scenery...? At distance it draws very poorly and wondered if there was a way to sharpen it up a bit...?
Settings for Scenery in the settings page are all nearly on Ultra...?

Hi Tony
There are a couple of ways.. well.. thousands of ways really and all will impact your setup to some degree. I wrote the settings down off the Horizon forums but can't find the b1oody things now. A quick (but unsatisfactory to my mind) fix is to make sure you have extended scenery switched off. Just Flight/GetMapping recommended this with the original (FS8/9) version but what you end up is an odd effect middle to far distance. If someone can remember what the cfg entries are, don't be afraid to post them as my setup is also unsatisfactory at present
Changing the draw distance is a good one but you need the NSA/FBI mainframe to get away with it.
Have a fiddle and you'll see what I mean
