Hi Ian..

Yes.. another nice model I rarely fly. Some of the purists threw harsh comments at it when it was released but I'm not sure if that wasn't a case of rivet counting gone mad. It's always looked ok to me and comes with a great selection of paints ;) The VC is a bit of a frame hugger so I removed mine

My heart sank reading this. :(

Especially as I bought the FSX CS 757 about a month ago.

Thankfully the discounts apply to most of the FS9 stuff.

The pro pack is still 29.99 for FSX.

The FSX patches are due out next month. Well overdue as well!

Yep....I have that on the PC and very nice :agree:

Took a long time to get it started but great when I did.

There was a lot of stuff said about it from, it seemed, folks that want high detail and minimal frame rates.....yeah right. :wall:

It looks like a 707 to me and as the screenie shows, does have the character of the real thing :D

Go on Tony.. I'll have a bit of that too matey

I'd considered doing it myself but I've just had a month off VA flying and don't want to lose the momentum now I'm back into it again.. that was until my PSU blew up this morning 8)

Keep the layered kit. It might come in handy one day ;)

Well as its less than £20 for the 757 and 707 I have gone and bought them, if they are crap its not too much to lose..but it seems folk like em. I always fancied a decent 757 with panel also be nice to see the payware 707 after flying HJG 707s :)
Ok what I am dreading....do I have to learn astro physics to start and fly these bu99ers or is it a bit easier???? :hide:

No mate.. they're not that bad. You should be reasonably au fait with the 707 after spending so much time in the HJG version and the 757 follows the basic Boeing layout.. but with glass :-O I don't know how the 757 flies with FSNav and there are certain things that need to be turned on to enable some basic functions to operate. With the 707.. forget longhaul (or even shorthaul) hands off flying with FSNav in control as they're not compatible. CS made one concession with the 707.. CIVA INS :(

Bottom line.. both are quality items. The 2D panels/windows in both are great.. stunning in the 707 ;)

Brilliant, Tony! I was just about to knock up a repaint myself, as suggested by Garry - no problemo Image. But as you so enjoy doing stuff like that, I wouldn't dream of stealing your glory

Thank you very much

Thanks, Eddie. It's all been created by lots of wonderful people who are far cleverer than I, but I spent a few weeks gathering together what I wanted and writing flightplans for it. It's not global traffic, it's airport specific, so it only flies in and out of Kai Tak and doesn't interfere with any other AI you've got. There are nearly 70 aircraft/livery combinations dating from 1975-1985 with an aircraft movement (in or out) every two and a half minutes. It works with Fly Tampa and 9 Dragons and some of the guys have already got a copy. I've bundled the whole lot into a zip with all the aircraft, bgls and full instructions and you're welcome to download it from the link below. There's another package here for Manchester for the same period which works with DM's 1975 Manchester scenery. Also bear in mind that it's for FS9 and I don't know if AI installs differently in FSX?

AI for VHHX and EGCC

I've also done one for Bermuda but I haven't got round to putting a download package together for that. The biggest problem is what to do with existing traffic. Kai Tak's OK because there isn't any! But all my modern World of AI stuff for MAN and BDA has had to be diverted one airline at a time which can be very time consuming.

If you fancy it, help yourself to a copy and if you've got any questions just shout.
