Well he came 'round and after intial scoffing he saw for himself how the lead was causing the machine to slow right down.

TBH his visit consisted of viewing me as if I was from another planet, then after stating the bl@@dy obvious, he loaded some anti virus, told me to re boot it and left me to source a new lead.

I think he is more than qualified to be a fully qualified field engineer :lol:

We get our fair share of those mate.. no matter what the profession. I spend minutes on the phone explaining that this bit of kit isn't doing this or that and an engineer will come round and tell me it's broke.. then go away and order the part that I'd advised was broken during the lengthy phonecall. They get all upset when you don't offer them a coffee :lol: At least you don't pay callout charges mate :D
