Aircraft Type Ratings
Type Ratings for fleet aircraft types will be 'self-regulated'.
When you are comfortable with a particular fleet aircraft type and wish to have a 'Type Rating' , please send a message to me through the FlyNET message facility.
You will only get rated on aircraft that are on the fleet.
Aircraft types will only be added to the fleet if appropriate.
Yours and other pilots Type Ratings can be viewed on your 'Prolile' page at FlyNET.
Rgds

Re: Aircraft Type Ratings
Hi Adrian
Unless John has already done it, I'll nip over now and allocate all 3 One-Elevens for you ;-)
EDIT.. Done A word of caution Adrian, pay attention to your airspeed below FL100 as these little tinkers (like the Comet) will get you a speeding fine at the drop of a hat ;-)

Dave
Thanks for getting back so quickly and thanks for the advice. I will practice diligently before exposing myself to the chance of speeding fines!
Thanks again

Re: Aircraft Type Ratings
I've successfully completed my 6 HS-748 type rating flights. Do I automatically become a trained pilot or does one of the admin staff need to check my flight reports. I feel the need to get back to Bristol. Aberdeen and the islands are alright, but those midges bite like... Well wotsits. Plus I need to share the Norwegian booze with Mrs F... CHEERS

Re: Aircraft Type Ratings
Hi Gary
No.. the TR to full rating isn't automatic unfortunately. I'll go over and check now just in case John has pipped me to the post ;-)
EDIT..
OK mate.. you're now making money on the 748 If you fancy anything else.. drop us a line here as the email over at FSA is a little brittle to say the least

Re: Aircraft Type Ratings
Thanks very much. I'll stick with what I really know how to fly for now. Once I'm truly bored with 200 KIAS journeys around the UK and Europe, I'll make sure I can get the 1-11, Trident, and 10 up and down as well as I can the 748 instead of crashing the entire fleet. ;-)

OK Matey You could always go for the Andover too. Some lovely little hops from RAF to RAF stn and quite a few nip over the channel ;-)

Re: Aircraft Type Ratings
Good point. I'll have to install it into FSX though... :000:

Re: Aircraft Type Ratings
No problemo Gary. When you're ready.. just give us a shout ;-) Not sure if the 780 got the same FSX treatment afforded the 748 but there are any number of guy's here who have it up and running
