New switched over to O2 broadband.... absolutely brilliant, easy process, worked first time and I'm getting the full 1200 kbps upload... brilliant. Funny how two different providers in the same exchange can have such difference in performance... although I believe IDNET (who I was with before) are using BT equipment, where as O2 use their own

O2 are now Telefonica... have been for a good 7 or 8 years (maybe more) There broadband business is effectively BE internet, who they bought two years ago. If you are a contract customer you get up to 8MB for £7.** for unlimited connection with a 12 month contract. All good stuff
