:o :o

I think I'd need more than one flypast before I tried landing at Alderney.. I have enough trouble getting the Rapide in there

As you'd imagine, I was light getting out of and lighter getting in to GUE. Not sure about loading on the 380 but the model I used comes with a pretty full load so I left with 20% L/R mains and all others empty so it was maximum fun for a full ship of pax  My apologies to those parked at the end of the runway. The tyre marks WILL polish out.. honest ;-)

Brooklands you say Brian...
EDIT.. Done that ;-) I do think Alderney is a bit much mind you. The 380's wheel track is wider than the runway

We keep an eye out for the 380 at Brooklands on Wednesdays with SAL and Emirates being the two most frequent :) Only seen Quantas once since it started ops. SAL leave early lunchtime and we can generally set our watches by Emirates which passes overhead just after 1500hrs ;-)

Cheers, Dave.

I'll take a look.
Don't expect to see the Emirates A380 over Brooklands on Wed 9th Sept. The aircraft is doing the service into Brum. The usual Brum B777-300 is swaping, to do the service into EGLL.
The SAL A380 that I flew on departed EGLL at around 22.30. Is the service now twice daily with an A380 ?

Kevin

Hey Kevin,

i saw the lunch time SALflight go out yesterday and then another came over my house just after it got dark last night whilst I polished off a pinotage. Not sure if thats a regular thing or not (the A380's that is, not the pinotage).

Cheers
