Jonesey flies Sierra Bravo:-

Post by petermcleland »

Here is a YouTube video which is best watched with the HD button clicked.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M51zYIaQFFc

Here is a much higher resolution Zip file but it will take a few minutes to download...You can play it direct from the WinZip window:-

I recorded it some time ago, but have only just got around to making the video. It only plays for 6 mins 45 secs :flying:

Have you turbocharged that Chippie Peter or are the crash sequences cut. For sure.. my Chippie won't do that at such a low level without making contact with 'Mother Earth'

I have to admit that 6mins or whatever it was supposed to be was too much. I cut and ran at the 3min mark. A nicely done vid but had I been watching that in real life.. I'd have wondered WHEN the accident was going to happen.. not IF ;-)

No Dave, the engine is normally aspirated but I did get the chaps to fit an aerobatic carburettor. Otherwise as you say...impossible. Pity you cut and ran...you missed Jonesey's rather nice landing

Yes I just checked and the only change to Rick's Version 3 Chipmunk is the aerobatic carburettor :)

EDIT...Plus the plastic surgery on the pilot's faces of course :bandit:

I was waiting for the fin tip to "strike a furrow".

You must have a concrete stomach Peter, that was you in the back wasn't it??

Very nice landing actually Jonesy, cute little Spitfire bounce too.

That's Pete showing how its supposed to be done. It went a bit wrong at first so a stern voice from behind said "I have control!"

Must say, I'd have thought inverted flying was the last thing you'd want to do while running shine from Skaggy to PAMA

Thanks for the comments gents...I'm quite surprised how many people have viewed that since Monday. I've only got 11 YouTube vids and I don't think many people are keen on my "Barnstorming" style :$ However, this one seems to be ticking along :flying:

EDIT...Nigel, your style is much smoother and more precise than mine and very pleasing to watch :flying:
