Re: Amazing piloting...
The Neptune shot is incredible it was taken in the Mountains East of San Diego (Around Julian Calif) I believe
They are very brave men and more than a few have given their lives trying to save forests and now in Socal rich idiots
houses......
I think somewhere in here there is a clip of a KingAir spotter overflying a FS truck in the same mountains east of Julian
Ive met some of these guys - theres is nothing crazy, unprofessional or stupid about them -- they just do their job
If your at all curious -- go to http://aerialfirefighting.com/index.php ... &Itemid=27
And see the honor roll for fixed rotary and smoke jumpers === finest kind
Sorry Garry didnt mean to be maudlin

For a nice little bit of light entertainment take a look at the film 'Always'. Some nice flying sequences even if the story is a bit twee.

Re: Amazing piloting...
I got to talk to the pilot of the plane in the opening scene. Said it took 6 takes. They never did hit the boat though.
