I'm interested in looking at a few charts of the UK, especially around the south-west. One thing, is 'cos I virtual fly around here, the other is that where I work we seem to get a LOT of aircraft traffic right over the roof. I'd like to see why this may be... Anyone have any idea where I could get info... Preferably download and free as I'm a right skinflint.
My workplace is approx 4 miles east of Filton which would explain the east-west traffic, but not so much the north-south.
We've been here for 3 years, and Chinooks & Merlins are at least a weekly low pass. Hercs every month or so, and we've had the RAF Tristar tanker over thrice, VC-10 once, Red Arrows once and BoB trio twice. Seem to get loads of GA and business stuff daily too. All low enough to rattle the tiles.
