Hawker Heroes???

Post by Trev Clark »

Another First (second?) Class Simulations product. The previous releases have been mixed, but I like the Hurricane (which has been out for sometime), models by Dan Dunn, ex-AlphaSim amongst others........

Nice Classic British stuff and includes three overlooked aircraft that deserve to be in MSFS too.

Seems to me Uncle Ted did a nice Fury -- as well as a lot of derivatives for free

;)

For those of us in fs9, I'm pretty sure you can get all of these in freeware (typhoon as ex-payware but I think no panel), the Tempest may be a CFS2 port-over.

Come to think of it the same can be said for most of this lot's products. Originality is about as strong as business ethics with this bunch.

I have a very nice freeware Hurricane courtesy of AH -- that Pete Watkins did an excellent "Last of the Few" repaint for

Not tried the Tempest Allan mentioned but might give it a shot --

SO why pay?

The guys at SOH are raving about the Fury and Tempest, but the Typhoon is by another developer and falls short of the mark! I see that a certain 'gentleman' with the initials DC is involved with this (and all First Class products), which will put off certain long serving members of this forum!

I wonder if there are paint kits available for the various aircraft. If there are then it's a definite purchase from me, although looking at some screenshots the Typhoon does look a bit on the rough side compared to the other three!

You can get it a lot cheaper than the £24.99 that First Class are selling it for if you shop around. The cheapest I've found so far is £17.99 at Play.com with free delivery.
