Vulcan at Yeovilton

Post by speedbird591 »

After reading of the disappointments at the show, I was surprised to find this video of the Vulcan arriving on the Friday.

How much would you give to have been standing at this point as she overshot? To the nearest hundred pounds?

A survey carried out afterwards in to whether the Vulcan was considered a noisy aeroplane, the most popular answer (92 percent) was "eh...pardon"?

It would have been interesting to have recorded the decibels of that...

I've just googled 'decibel scale' and a military jet taking off is 140dB... Rekon a Vulcan is a tad louder???
