Nothing more needs to be said than has already been said mate. It looks like the Alpha Valiant bitmap with DM's VC10 gauges which is exactly what it is I trust something is going to be done about the eyepoint. While you're using the VC10 cab, you might as well use the eyepoint gauge that is contained therein.
Don't take this the wrong way but it seems pointless asking for comment as all of the work visible in that screenshot is someone elses. The Alpha panel is good for what it is and how old it is. The VC10 gauges are accurate for the VC10 (not C1K or current K's) and look a treat in the VC10. Nice panel.. nice gauges.. but not together I'm afraid.

This was done before all the comments about it being inacturate. But I have to argee with you. I think I've got it over to him and if not, I'll Simply send him a link to this thread to sum it up.
[Edit: Turns out, The message didn't get though to him so he's been sent a link to this as I'm well and truely fed up trying to sort this out. Always like comments but this is just hacking me off to much for it to be worth my while sorting it out anymore.]
Don't forget there is a link in one of my posts above showing the Valiant panel layout. To be honest.. if the panel was awash with gauges of various kinds, to have the odd one or two out of place wouldn't be so bad but the Valiants main panel is rather sparse. Of course, there are a whole bunch of sub panels which no 'one man' could hope to operate on his own.. unless you're used to flying something from CaptainSim
To make the Alpha panel 'look' the part might take a bit more research with the gauges but there are freeware gauges out there that would do the job. Of course, if you can't make your own so want to make it simple.. this does cut your options down a bit but you'll only get out of it what you put in
We're not picking flies for the sake of it mate.. most of us have much more useful ways of spending our lives ;-)
They seem to have lost me 2 usable single stroke keys to give a screenshot key, what is wrong with printscreen and Com Radio I do not need, change for the sake of change it seems

Don't worry, I see it as people trying to help which is always good
I don't think either myself or Dave are prepared to do anymore to the Valiant as we've both decided it would be better to move onto other things but what's been learned from the Valiant will be taken on to other projects
Jon I see the Barracuda has resurfaced in Flightsim.com exactly as it was on the Pond, it does NOT work in FSX despite the fact the model can be seen ok the prop is one of the worst I have seen, not Getting at Mr Ito as it was done for Fs9 where the prop is ok.
Next to nothing works in the panel down I think because the JET engine is still there but you have mag switches and starter there is a prop revs gau which does not work I suspect on a pure jet, etc etc.
Extract from Mr Ito's readme which is not included in the download.

2.Please neither reverse-assembly nor never remodel(convert) it of the aircraft model.
3.Please don't bundle my airframe(MDL file) in the package of your works when you open the repaint to the public.
(Please open only the texture to the public. )
4.Don't use DXT format for making texture.
Please make it by the format that everyone can change.
It is necessary to be able to read and change with usual drawing software.
5.It is prohibited to bundle and to open a new panel to the public to my aircraft model.
(Please open only the panel to the public.
It is included in this file, and remodeling the panel that uses the panel background and the change in the panel background are prohibited. )
6.I maintain the copyright of the aircraft model and the panel background.
7.The copyright of the gauge belongs to the author.
You repacked it in a self installer the panel you say is by someone other than Ito and you claim to have the source files where clearly you do not,
You have been given the benefit of the doubt here but ignored the advice given.
Might I sugeest you pull everything that's not your originally and concentrate on your own originals from now on..as suggested before
As I mentioned earlier on it is often statred with good intetions but this sort of thing is so irritating to those who have put hundreds of hours into the original that many developers are giving up.........giving up simply because they give a gift and state clearly that it is to be left as it is and then suffer the indignity of third parties offering fixes for models that are not broken to force them into sims they were not made for and leaving the original author with emails by the dozen complaining about the failings of his product.

WTF!
I didn't add them there............................
I'm as shocked as you are to be honest as we're leaving that all behind. If I'd added them, there'd be a load of A300s with them which there isn't (Ironically, I started to add them to Flightsim.com last night anyway as its been on my todo list for a while). I shall deal with this and thanks for bringing it to my attention.
Once it's on the web the other will upload something you did that you do want uploaded in that form
Unauthorised upload which is, tbh, what you people did in the first place.
Garry
I'm dealling with that, we're aware of what we did and are going to make sure that we never do it again!
Re pulling files, I'll contact lief and get the valiant pulled.

As it stands at the moment the decision has been made to temporarily remove all of your files from the pond until we are completely happy with their integrity.
I am more than happy to host files which respect the rights/wishes of their original authors and abide by their terms but I will not host files which breach or I suspect of breaching these rules.
Please feel free to contact any of the CBFiles crew if you want to discuss it further, I just wanted to publicly make our position clear.
