Problems installing Dave G's Rapide into FS9

Post by Christhekeeper »

Hi All

Following a hard drive failure, I'm having to re-install all my FS9 aircraft. I've downloaded the Rapide pack from the pond but having extracted the files as usual, and hit the auto-installer, I get the 'run' dialogue box and QSetup extract files and then nothing else. Can Dave or any one else help?
Cheers
Chris

Hi Chris,

Did you download the FSX version by mistake?

There also seems to be an old version for FS9 named dh89.zip

The newest FS9 version is named fs9_dh89.zip That's the one you want.

Are you're running Vista? If so, you need to run the installer as administrator.
Failing that, virus scanner/firewall blocking it maybe :dunno:

Hi Dave

Thanks Dave - now why didn't I think of that? :dunno: It's sorted and I'm flying again.

Thanks Jon for suggestion but I had got right one. ALways worth checking the obvious though.
Cheers
Chris
