Paul -The 99% transparency trick for curing the props texture see-through problem is one which 'everybody' seems to know about and therefore few think worth mentioning.
Took me ages to discover any reference to this simple cure :roll:

I'd never heard of it :dunno:

On the other hand I have never produced a prop material that did not contain transparency so it's not ben a problem I guess.

On pre makeMDL versions of FSDS the transparent parts have to be at the bottom of the list to avoid that so I guess the MakeMDL pics up the transpancy parts and does that automatically. :think:

I always make a transparent material too as thats how it used to be done and FSDS does not show alpha transparency so have to

Sorry didn't think of that as i always have used it.
