Classic Aircraft Video

Post by Nigel H-J »

Hi chaps, just finished my last video. Will not be making any more for a while as spent very nearly two whole days flying, filming and editing it so I have had enough with creating vids for now, maybe in six or twelve months time I might restart.

Hope you enjoy it.

Yes, I was expecting that Dave and will be totally honest....For the last part of the video the Argosy was the lead aircraft and to the right and left the Vanguard and Viscount with Dereks' Dove following behind in box four formation however, when I started flying the Viscount in the four o' clock position at five hundred feet all I got in the cockpit was whoop whoop pull up nearly all the time, went into the cfg file to try and disable it but could not find where it was and due to limited time and I mean limited as I had set myself a time scale I had to unfortunately improvise with the HS748. Equally even when I rebooted the computer stutters were beginning to get worse to the point that I could not even do a forward view from the Dove hence the side view looking towards the 748.

I had this week-end clear but for the next few months I am very busy catching up with other work around the house and garden.

Don't worry Dave, even though I have not kept the original recordings to remake this video I will be putting something special on with the prop liners but until I can find the idea and inspiration of how it will be done I will be leaving it for now.

I can honestly say that even when the video was completed it was an incomplete video due to the Viscount and Vanguard not participating and still kick myself hard when I think about it. :-(

It will happen, I promise you.

Many thanks for all your kind comments, it was something of a challenge and flying facing backwards underneath the formation was certainly that!! :worried:

Nigel.
