Frustrations!!!

Post by Nigel H-J »

Went to renew my license (should that be spelt with two c's)? for Kaspersky Anti-Virus, filled in the page correctly along with my card details....rechecked everything to make doubly sure it was all correct...yep, all correct...pressed the button to submit...(don't you just love doing that with your money)?? then it came up as 'your basket is empty' :doho: :brick: :brick:

What to do now I ask myself....answer...nowt!! I put in all the details and as far as I am concerned it all went through or should have done, so have e-mailed Kapersky purchasing dept to ask whether they have actually received it, I know confirmation will come in the form of an e-mail but have always been told by never to repeat a purchase especially when you know you have done it correctly first time. Am I being too cautious?

Regards
Nigel.

Difficult one this mate. If you hit the button and the transaction completes.. you may not see anything in your basket as to all intents, there's nowt there as you've bought it.. it's gone from the basket to you. See what you get back via email. I'd have thought confirmation of sale would've been automatically generated and in your inbox in 2 shakes of a very small lambs tail

Ok Nige..

If you've heard nothing yet, then I'd be a little suspicious it hadn't gone through. By tomorrow, any withdrawal should be showing on your method of payment too so there's another check. If done by Paypal.. it'd have been there within seconds of the transaction being completed. Nothing lost mate.. by the looks of things and always prudent not to hit the 'Payment' button twice. In fact, may sites will advertise NOT to hit the button twice so if all goes to rats.. sit tight and wait ;-)

Hi guys, thought I would update you on the latest. :worried:

Had e-mail from Kaspersky who said that a number of customers have had problems renewing their licenses and gave me a contact number to ring. Cutting a long story short the Anti-Virus for 2 years protection was something like £35 however good old PC World are flogging the full Kaspersky Internet Security which was priced £49 and something down to £19.99!! :o :dancer:

Well, no need to ask what I did is there!!

I think the moral of this story is even a month before your anti-virus/firewall/spam blocker etc runs out, go shoppin'.

Again, very many thanks to all who contributed their advices.

BTW, no money had been taken from my credit card.

Regards
Nigel.
