Two more for the ongoing releases by Pete Forster - one Canadian, one Australian (in curious, but fetching duck egg blue undersides...): I'll get these up at the pond ASAP.
(I really like this scheme, great fun. It's shiny, has stripes, and has rivets):
I thought so too, Hobby, quite odd to see Duck Egg Blue employed on a RN -style scheme like that, presumably in place of a lack of 'Sky', but who knows. Still, makes for a more interesting result, good old Australian Navy!
"308" is the ex Iraq AF Fury owned by the late Guido Zuccoli in Darwin. I know this aircraft very well as I spent many many hours dressing stone nicks out of the propellor before the RAN's 75th anniversary airshow in 1988.
Probably one of the reasons why I prefer jets !

nice to hear some more on 308, what a beauty she is. Do you know why incidentally she was that curious shade of greeny blue underneath? Forgive the ignorance, as I am not familiar with RAN colour schemes that much; I just painted what I saw!
Come, come, Sean - me do FSX? Don't even have it on the system! No, it's humble old FS9, with some bells and whistles.
The Aussie RAN paint is a nice one, I'll admit, the colour is a different enough shade to turn a few heads.
"308" didnt serve with the Royal Australian Navy. It is an ex Iraqi Fury bought to Australia by the late Guido Zuccoli in the late 1980's.
The paint scheme was Guido's interpretation of the standard EDSG/ Sky.
This aircraft stayed with us at the RAN Historic flight on a few occasions, I have not so fond memories of filing out several million nicks in the prop blades after Guido ran it through a gravel patch at Scone.
I beleive "308" is still with Guido's wife Lynnette and lives at Aerotec in Queensland.
Cheers
