Looks pretty good...but you'd think, looking at the starboard side of the Northwest, they could get the flag the right way round :o

Re: New DC-9 coming up
Nick Bottomer 'built' a new DC-9 'for' Historic Jet Group that's quite nice. I expect the new payware will be heavy on the system end, which I think is very nice. Except, I much prefer to 'kick the tires and light the fire'. I'll most likely stay with HJG's DC-9 for 'simplicity's sake'.

I'd really love to fly the HJG models - but I'm so much into flying from the VC... :lazy:rpjkw11 wrote:I'll most likely stay with HJG's DC-9 for 'simplicity's sake'.
A nice weekend to you all,

Re: New DC-9 coming up
Looks interesting, however me feels it will be the norm of payware where by you need to spend ages working through manuals to get the bugger lit up before you even get the tires rollin...
I like life simple... I will also stick to HJG but I am a bit of a bad boy over there as I dont use the panels!!! They are excellent and realistic in the way the work has gone into them what with a lot of time spent on FDE work to get it as right as possible, but I do not have the time to play with all the knobs and whistles plus the bells... so I generally use Ken Mitchell panlels for the simple life I crave.. bet that will upset Mark C.. I will put my bullet proof vest on
Someone once asked me if I used an FMC, well I was quite upset at that question as I think my sex life is a personal thing and my toys/aids are not for public knowledge

Re: New DC-9 coming up
Excellent! Many thanks for sharing. I hope it is as good as Stelan Hilmerby's version. Flight One had a version, but it was not well made as I remember. Anyway, even with extensive system's simulation (as in Stellan's version) the Dc-9 does not take a long time to crank up; it is somewhat simple in operation me thinks. Hope they release soon!

Re: New DC-9 coming up
I must say that as freeware, Stelan Hilmerby's version is tops. I would even take it as payware because it about the best out there.
Now if i could sucessfully mate his panel to the HJG DC-9 (I understand HJG is trying to "license" it for their DC-9's - hope they succeed).
The Flight 1 product was a total joke to me. My first payware product and almost my last.
