However, here is the 'rub', to really get the best out of FSX (without even touching on hardware cost), I have to pay for pretty much everything! With a few (very worthy) exceptions :kissu: , pretty much all good FSX add-ons are payware!!
Added to that, I will soon have to pay for yet another HD to add the Horizon middle UK pack, to add Gary Summon's upcoming Vol 2 of his UK2000 airfields. Those packages will take up about 40 odd gig of space! Perhaps I will get rid of FS9 instead?????
I also spend much time in non-Brit airframes, because the developers now cannot afford to spend months working on models with limited appeal.
What I am getting at here (I think) is the cost of this hobby is drastically increasing, at a time when the world is collectively restricting its spending, will this kill off the hobby??
