Re: X2WX, Weston-Super-Mare scenery
Great to have Weston
As Leif mentions a lot of Freighter work was done there and eventually production was undertaken there of the 170 as space was made at Filton for the Brabazon, Britannia and the future supersonic airliner they were developing that eventually became the British half of Concorde
Most of the Superfreighters were built there and also Bristol helipcopters
I believe the Museum is a part of the Britsol complex
An airfield that sits quietly nowadays and it is largley forgotton as to just how big a part it played in British aviation history.

Re: X2WX, Weston-Super-Mare scenery
Hi Bob..
I've just pulled it off the Pond and the vast majority of it isn't showing
It's not helpful that the readme is in a format I don't have (docx) which is presumably the latest version of word??
A simple .txt doc would do mate
I have to go and work now but I'll throw the docx doc onto my daughters Vista pc this afternoon and see what might have happened ;-)

Yep. My fault, in a rush as usual. I had uploaded to CBF first...THEN realised I had meant to (but not yet done) a read me in assorted formats, ie, docx, txt, & pdf, which I did make for the uploads to avsim & flightsim, so I shall make an upload now to CBF with the later version, so those that can not read the docx version will have either the pdf or palin text versions to go at.
The only bits that will show as uploaded (i.e without the ez scenery etc) would be the grass textures/museum sign & some doors, as these were made by me.
Sorry, my fault entirly
Bob

Hey Dave
I just got home and ran the word doc through Vista - and translated it back into plain old .txt files. I think your going to
need to up load some scenery files to make it work -- i was fortunate that I have most already on board.
the txt file is in your email
and for everyone else I added it to the scenery file

I have uploaded the later version. I see that your queue waiting now lists the original (from this morning) as v1 & the one I have just uploaded as v2. So as not to confuse people [me included], can you get rid of the first version? leaving v2 - which is still actually v1
but with the read me in docx/txt/pdf formats.
Ta.
Arn't you glad I don't do scenery that often |-)
