The CBFS downloads site?

Post by DogTailRed2 »

Hi,

where do you keep all your aircraft for members to download?
The only link I can see is from the home page Gallery but that does not give a means to register and doesn't like my forum login ?
Is their a direct link I can use and is it posted somewhere on the site ?

Thanks,

Ted.

There is a members only section that contains some downloads but other than that there is no CBFS download site

Most of the files and others, can be downloaded from Classic British Files http://classicbritishfiles.com/index.php

Other files from the modelmakers own sites.

The home page of this site contains links which from there should get you all you want :)

Hi,

thanks, that did the job.
BTW why not include the link on your homepage or as a sticky?

Ted.

Hi Ted

Glad you're sorted :)

All the links are on there.............Classic British Files is the top one

Anyways.............anything else you can't find or any problems crop up just ask and someone will get you sorted in short order :)

Hi Ted

The very first link on the 'Links' page (off the homepage) is Classic British Files mate ;-) Most of our releases are let loose here first in the Members Only forum (this allows us to iron out any bug's/issues you lot might find!) then, where appropriate.. they migrate over to CBF. The main exception is anything DM releases is always on his own site and nowhere else.. generally speaking ;-)

I've missed that Dan but I'm sure if I look long enough, I'll get it too

Hi Dave. I guess that "on his own site and nowhere else" is specific rather than general. But there again .... :dunno:

My youngest daughter proudly told me recently, that she has "practically" given up smoking. She couldn't understand why I laughed!

Cheers mate.

I mentioned 'on his own site and nowhere else.. generally speaking' because there are bits of his (VC10 packs spring to mind) on Allnodes but these are from some time ago. He's received good support from his current hosts so feels obliged to upload there and nowhere else these days (and rightly so because they have been good to him) ;-) The 'generally speaking' bit was added because there will always be some smartarse who'll say 'but I got his VC10 off Flightsim.com' :cpu:
