For John and the gents at CBFSVA

Finally -- Broadford is Almost done

DaveM is doing some custom scenery for it -- and Ricks Skye bridge is already in place

so......

Heres the deal ==

With the hangar, and some of DaveMs custom work in situ although NOT in the final locations

Im considering putting two versions up with and without the bridge - the without will have an exclusion bgl
for FS's poor excuse to what I find an aesthetically pleasing bit of reinforced concrete.

Also The "pre bridge" version will have the PS Waverley as an AI steaming in and out of Broadford.

Thanks for looking

Leif

Oh yes -- Ive trimmed the pine copse on the SE side down considerably

Thank you Dave

But truthfully Mr Molyneaux is the genius -- He knocked up the carzie's in about an hour

There is one very prominently seen next to the portakabin in photos of Broadford.

I just do the leg work and put stuff where it shows in the photos :):):)

It will be a fun little airport.

Just to add some extra realism, if we are flying several years in the past can we have a queue of cars waiting before the bridge to pay their dues. Perhaps some even turning round because they would not pay the fees.

Seriously though, lovely job and cannot wait for it to be released.

Leif,

A Steamer or should I say steamers, both Macbraynes used to run up fron Mallaig-Kyle of Localsh-Raasay =Portree. One I think went on to Stornoway and Ullapool. The long run was done by the Loch Seaforth and the shortrun by the Loch Arkaig. Both sank just before they were due to be decommissioned. Loch Arkaig whilst berthed and the Loch Seaforth whilst under tow just as it was entering safety. Funny that.

Simon

I have to apologise about Broadford -- This is my time of the year for recurrent training plus Dame M is about to release his next Auster so I have been remiss -- The scenery will be along shortly

No worries got plenty of other things to keep me occupied. It's nice someone is doing it and as I cannot do it myself I would not complain anyway.

Just as an extra, it was listed as the manager being a Mr. T.Westman. Tom died a few months ago and when I last spoke to him he was most surprised to be named as manager. He kept an ultralight there. I suppose that will now go. There used to be an Isle of Skye Calendar and a few aeriel shots were included that were taken from his plane. He piloted whilst somebody took the shots.
