Re: FSX Repaint Info
Strange....it does not show up in Start/Programs etc.....FSX itself does OK but ne extensions for the SDK there either...
The only entry is in the Add/Remove section in Control Panel.
Gets worse don't it... :-(

Edit 'Show all folders' always enabled

Here's a screenie of my setup and you can clearly see the help file (fsxsdk.chm) at the bottom of the list in the SDK root folder. Double click on the .chm file to open it.

Re: FSX Repaint Info
Quick question, FSX Gold, do you install Acceleration separately or is it all done in a oner?
If the former I'm just wondering if it might be worth downloading the service packs for the SDK as they may not be included with Gold, if the latter they probably are anyway and I'll go back to nodding gently to myself.

Get the latest SP for the SDK here:
http://www.fsinsider.com/downloads/Pages/default.aspx
Just install 1 and then 2, don't worry if you have it already, you'll be notified.
Or go here and you'll get the latest info directly online:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/esp/7f2 ... 18845.aspx
Acouple of more links:

Re: FSX Repaint Info
That looks like the original RTM SDK  Note the HTML file. The original SDK files were in HTML format.
I'd recommend downloading the latest SDK updates.

Re: FSX Repaint Info
Although you didn't need SP1 applied to the game before updaing to SP2, You will need each of the SDK updates applied in turn... (so from memory thats RTM, SP1a and SP2)
Ben.
