I expect the chaps would have enjoyed visiting Driffield but if I had been flying Echo, I would be trying to scrounge a lift with a few mates, to pop down the road to Leconfield for one of their famous Lunches in the officers mess...Fresh Lobster Tails were my favourite :flying:

BTW...Are the Hunters behaving themselves? I have only had them landing at Stradishall and McLeland Field so far

No problems ancountered so far Peter, they are behaving themselves perfectly.

As to Leconfield, I expect to be there again later in the year for the "Retreat" ceremony. Won't be the Officers Mess though. This S.A.C. retired will only make the Sergeants Mess.
