EAccessViolation prblem with FS Repaint

I had this on my laptop and had not used it for a while, great for checking repaints without firing up FS! anyway for some soft reason I mistakenly uninstalled it, reinstalled it but got this EAccessViolation message everytime I tried to fire it up, I have uninstalled it again and ran a reg check to remove any bits out,then reinstaled again but still no joy. It works fine on the main PC and the version is 1.23 or similar?? ANy clues anyone... I really would hate to lose this prog as its very useful

I recall something like this some time back and found I needed the updated version.

Just downloaded the demo from http://www.abacuspub.com/fsd/repaint/rpgallery.htm

and it is version 2.10 which may fix your problem.

Thanks for the link I will try the demo, odd thing is I have not upated drivers or windows updates etc since the last use of FSR so why its gone kaput on me I have no idea, a bugger if I have to pay again for V2, dont seem to get much support from Abacus on their website for the V1 of FSR :-(

I only ever used the demo for reviewing repaints, preferring to use Photoshop for the painting. So updating the demo sufficed for me.

Tried the demo it works, but you cant assign a texture editir i.e. PSP7 etc to it in demo mode :-(
