Hi Mate. If you have 2 separate HD's the number of volumes is actually the number of partitions, so if you have 1 hard disk with two partitions you'll see 3 volumes... also the numbering of the volumes isn't necessarily as you'v suggested as your DVD/CD Rom drive can be detected as volume 0, just see what it says when you run the LIST command from Diskpart ;-)

OK chaps, just for info (and one to watch) Discovered this by using process monitor (filemon on XP and earlier)
If your running FSX on Vista, and like me FSX is installed on a separate drive, FSX will store your scenery.cfg here...
It seems to also use this area for building the scenery cache!!! :o
So if your backing up your FSX, and you want to be sure you've got your scenery config to, mage sure you also backup this folder
I'll move this to Virtual spanner as it seems more apropreate. ;-)
