It still messes up the aircraft menu, but I can use it :)

Something strange going on there mate. Aircraft don't touch the menu system, its part of FSX. The menu sistem read the aircraft.cfg files found in the directories and displays the contents. Have you got FSX SP2 installed or the Acceleration addon?

"interior" model files are for FSX 'native' models. FS9 models do not have that feature.

With FSX it became possible to have seperate interior and exterior models but this is NOT required.

@Ben. Thought you'd like to know that I installed the BAC1-11 400 as per your instructions and it works perfectly.

Having loaded it I then discovered an unrelated problem, which I hope someone might be able to provide a solution for. Have a look at this picture:-

Those 'ghosts' are supposed to be Viscounts (by Tom Gibson).
Any ideas?

Looks like your running FSX in DX10 preview mode. The DX10 preview mode is just that, a preview, so you'll get all sorts of oddities with aircraft and scenery that wasn't built explicitly for FSX Acceleration. Best leave it at DX9 (Default)

If your not using DX10 preview mode, it looks like this model isn't FSX compatible?

One other thing worth noticing, is that the Alpha channel has been Revesed (as I under stand it)

In FS9: white is transparent and in FSX black is (or is it the other way around)

This could be the culprit of some very shining textures sheen here and there.

But regarding the "Stealth" Viscount, I'm pretty sure that Ben is Bang On with the DX10 comment.

Thanks for the quick response, Ben. I am running FSX Acceleration on XP (SP3) and DirectX9.0c.

I suspect you're right about the non-compatibility of that model with FSX.

Thanks for your response too, Dan. I'll have a go and see if I can reverse the Alpha in the texture.
