I cringe every time I think of the idea of making the 727 FSX compatible.

I'm way too dumb for this FSX business, as I've discovered. This should, of course, come as a surprise to no-one.

Just as I couldn't figure that out on HJG's website:
does any of their models (escpecially the 727 oder the 707) offer a good VC?

Many thanks,

Nick.

I like 2d panels better myself.... I loose my frame of reference to easily in the Vc.

I don't think I will really be satisfied with a vc until true immersion Virtual Reality is out there

I'm not a VC fan either .... but having said that .... I am extremly content/impressed with the quality of those VC's provided with David MALTBY's, and Rick PIPER's FS products :) .... those being the one's I'm most familiar with.

Well I think it depends on the model and how the VC is finished. If it is done like in DMs 1-11 or Rick Piper's 748 I say it provides more reality than a 2d panel. I want to push the knob where it really is in the aircraft. This finish, this perfection is what makes me so addicted. However there's a lot of freeware and even payware where you simply can't fly out of a VC - because of gauges you can't read and/or a dirty finish...

But being so spoilt with above models (as even the frame rates stay cool with these VCs) I find myself looking after a good 3D-conversion of the panel with every new model I think to acquire...

Happy landings (in 2D or 3D),
