Comet fleet and routes revamp

Post by RAF_Quantum »

Hi Guys,

The Comet fleet and route expansion is complete for now. The majority of the Comet 4B routes have been switched to the Comet 4 and new sets of flightplans have been uploaded for each of the three variants. Comet bases have been updated in the 'Designated bases for aircraft' thread in the 'Recruiting and Rules' forum and are repeated here for info :-
COMET 4 (All)

EGLL

=================================

COMET 4B

'BEA Fleet' Bases : EGLL EDDI
G-APMA
G-APMC
G-APMD
G-APME
G-APMF
G-APMG
G-ARCO

'BEA Airtours Fleet' Bases : EGKK
G-ARCP
G-ARGM
G-ARJK
G-ARJL
G-ARJN

'Channel Airways Fleet' Bases : EGSS EGNT EGCC EGPF EGGD EGBB
G-APMB
G-APYC
G-APYD
G-APZM
G-ARDI

=================================

COMET 4C (all)

EGKK EGCC
The Comet 4 routes are BOAC routes, the Comet 4B routes are BEA, BEA Airtours and Channel Airways routes and the Comet4C routes are Dan Air routes. TR's will be done on the Comet 4B and when completed pilots will get full TR's for all three variants.

There are a large number of new aircraft off station at the moment and if any pilots would like to bring them back to their bases it would be much appreciated.

Enjoy :)

Regards

John

WooHoo,

Lots of Comet Ferry flights, time for some nice relaxing flights.

Just got to finish a couple of 1-11 flights first.
Cheers

Hi John

I'll shift a few Comets around, particularly the ones at LFPG.
Can you set up some ferry flights for them?
LFPG-EGLL (4 & 4B), LFPG-EGKK (4C) will do for starters.

Cheers
David

Hi Guys,

The following ferry flightplans have been uploaded. The aircraft that the plans are intended for are noted alongside :-

==================================

Comet 4

CBF400P KORD - KJFK G-APDR G-APDT (to feed into scheduled routes back to EGLL)

CBF401P EDDM - EGLL G-APDB G-APDC G-APDF G-APDH G-APDI G-APDJ G-APDK

CBF402P LFPG - EGLL G-APDD G-APDG

CBF403P EGCC - EGLL G-APDE

G-APDA G-APDL G-APDM G-APDN G-APDO G-APDP and G-APDS at KJFK are to utilise normal scheduled flightplans, one direct EGLL and another via Gander.

==================================

Comet 4B

CBF410P GOOY - LPPT - EGLL G-APMD

CBF411P LFPG - EGSS G-APYD

CBF412P EGLL - EGSS G-APZM

CBF413P LFPG - EGLL G-ARCO

CBF414P LFPG - EGKK G-ARCP G-ARJK G-ARJL G-ARJN

CBF415P EGLL - EGKK G-ARGM

==================================

Comet 4C

CBF425P EDDM - EGKK G-AROV G-BDIT G-BDIW

CBF426C LFPG - EGKK G-AYVS G-BDIU G-BDIV G-BDIX

==================================

Please note that each of these ferry routes has just the one flightplan so for that reason on flights where multiple airframes need to utilise the plan, please do not book the flight until just before you wish to fly. This will avoid a plan being blocked for any significant length of time. Most of the flights are very short so shouldn't hold anyone too long if at all.

Regards

John
