A bit of light spotting ...

Post by speedbird591 »

I've been either too squiffy or too bunged up to do any flight simming over the hols. So I thought I'd get out on to the harbour, chug around in my tug and do some spotting. Here's some of wot I seen :worried:

What a nice lazy way to pass the time of day Ian.

BTW, are you going to be there as the New Year comes in as I believe fireworks can be seen at the magical hour, well there are with 9 Dragons unless I am getting confused with November 5. :worried:

Regards
Nigel.
I used to be an optimist but with age I am now a grumpy old pessimist.

That's right, Nigel - I remember that with 9Dragons. But I can't remember whether it's for Gregorian New Year or the Chinese New Year at the end of January  I'm pretty certain it's around midnight, though! FlyTampa supposedly has something similar but I haven't seen it yet.
Must read the manual one day

Ben (or Nigel, or anybody else who's interested) I've just put all my Kai Tak retro AI files onto CD for Richard (fighterpilot). It should contain everything you need to recreate my retro traffic at Kai Tak. It should work at any version of the airport which has an ILS and parking nodes. I've only used it in FS9 but I suppose it should be OK in FSX - it might not be to everybody's taste but if anyone wants a copy, PM me your name and address and I'll pop one in the post. Even if you don't use all of it, it can be a start to whatever you want to do.

Ian :)

Found the fireworks in FlyTampa! On the hour, every hour from 2000 to midnight for 10 mins!
