I did the same as you Dave -- Googled "air Globe" into the ground Nothing...........Nice to see the Line drawing of the LAC aircraft - your colour values match
all I had seen was the black and white photo and I was judging by shade and tone alone.

I think I may know a lead from Air Globe -- give me a couple of days to wake him up in Sion

Another lovely C MK8 shot Brian  She's an ex LAMS aircraft though not marked as such in that depiction  Operated by Skyflight Ltd during the Berlin airlift ;-)

Leif..

I can't find anything in the Halifax/Halton aircraft listing to suggest an LAC aircraft being written off at Newcastle mate. However.. found this for the 3 Air Globe aircraft..

G-AJNV (1365) PP292, reg HB-AIF to Air Globe, Geneva 8.47
G-AKBP (1362) PP289, reg HB-AIL to Air Globe, Geneva 8.47
G-AKCT (1346) PP273, reg HB-AIK to Air Globe, Geneva 9.47

All 3 ended up with the Egyptian Air Force 12.48 :o A sneaky way around the arms embargo perhaps??
