No, you are not seeing things......

..it really is just a Mirage!!!

The Skysim Mirage has not gone into hibernation! Our design team has been busy creating what must be one of the finest virtual cockpits yet seen in MSFS! These shots are all FSX (it is a full on SP2 native model now), and despite my PC not being state of the art, she really does seem to like having her piccy taken.

Featured below are some of the variants, different (virtual) cockpit layouts (with some stunning new technology, like the radar) and weapons load-outs etc. that will be in the Skysim Mirage package. If you liked the Skysim Hawk, you will love this Mirage.....even if it does smell a bit of garlic :-#

A slightly less well specified (due to sim limitations) will be released later for FS9.

Great coverage Trev!

I've added a table of the available stores, weapons, and fuel tanks to my page on this subject if anyone is interested. Similar to the Hawk the selection of these items will be based on a weight value entered under Payload. All versions of the aircraft in the package will be able to select all weapons and Mark is working on getting the correct weapons (Sidewinder versions, 500L tank versions, that sort of thing) matched up with the appropriate base model.

With all the new releases, I have had to put my team of builders on overtime - new hangars going up all over the place

That looks great - even better than the Mirage 2000M EAF -CLICKY- VC that I think is the best military jet VC I've ever seen. So let's be 'avin' it! :dancer:

Work is still going on at a frantic pace, but as soon as one thing is sorted, another crops up.

The (small) team are learning about pretty much everything as it is encountered (this is Mark's first native FSX model too, although the quality is as good as anything I have ever seen) and some very esteemed developers are now also on-board, so things are progressing.

The sort of snags now include things like oddities with the AI radar display returns :o , this project is now problably the most complex single engined aircraft model ever developed for MSFS. The wait may well be a bit longer, but it will be worth it!!!
