    Am I getting a bit predictable?

Tony - those are brilliant, too. If this is a competition, I'm all for it. Glad I don't have to judge it, though!

What I need now is a US airport that hasn't changed much since 1980 (yeah, right  )so I can furnish it with retro traffic and do some of these 727s justice. Or Bermuda, perhaps?

Ian

The airport your looking for is LaGarbage -- it still has the original AA hangars and the PAA seaplane hanagrs on the north side

Oh yes Tony the third one -- Is the first 727 I ever flew on from JFK-ATL in Late 1968 - when United's trolley dollys were

all young and wore very short uniforms

Problem is they are all still flying for United :o

Uploading the DHL 727 to Simviation & All Toads as we speak......also a set of blank textures for anybody else that would like to try their hand at painting this classic......I can't be assed, got better things to do!!!

Brilliant idea, Leif! (I'm assuming that's an affectionate term of endearment for La Guardia ) There's a freeware LGA at Avsim which should be better than the stock one and I've had a flip through Airliners.net for 70s/80s shots. There are some very interesting aircraft and liveries and most of them are available as AI.

So that looks like my next project, then, but not for a while  Install LGA, divert WoAI traffic, populate it with retro AI and fly some 727s in and out. And that will give me a classic airport in the US, Europe (Manchester) and the Far East (Kai Tak). Excellent. Thank you.

Ian ;-)
