Sibwings FSX Safir is out!

Post by Quixoticish »

Finally! I remember this one being very well received when it was released for FS9.

Best of all, it's free to owners of the original FS9 version! :welldone:

Very nice indeed but I'd be interested to hear from anyone who buys this, and what they think of that blurred glow from the night instrument panel. I don't think I could put up with that for very long.

There is no blurred glow on the instrument panel from what I can see, even with bloom turned on on my rig.

Looking at the screenshots, Chris; there seems to be a glow from them.

I'd be intrigued to see what other people get at night because I just don't have anything like the screenshots. With bloom on obviously you get a very subtle glow that is not distracting at all, and that's about all.

Ahhh yes, I see what you mean now. Sorry, previously I was talking out of my backside as I was hitting the wrong panel lights switch.

It's not so bad on the lowest setting but still annoying. Admittedly this is only with bloom on, with bloom off it's not an issue at all. (I always fly with bloom off as I find the effect unrealistic).
