But..........Sabre dance is NOT a good thing -- if actually refers to the F100As which did rather unpleasent things on
take off after a hydraulic failure -- there is a video of one doing what was refered to as "The Sabre Dance" the pilot
was unable to eject. :-(

But Jan and his team have done a gorgeous thing

Sorry Leif, I've never heard of that, I was making reference to the song.

Actually unless people have been exposed specifically to the F100 and its early problems I doubt wether they would make the connection - the 86 was by everyone who I have met who flew them (quite a few older parties) the penultimate North
American gun platform - Like all early jets its only short coming was range)
