Dove 8 - is it on the cards?

Post by Chris558 »

Just wondering if Del P is working on the 'bumpy' cockpit version of his lovely Dove. I would love this (also as an RAF Devon)..... pretty please! :)

Hi Chris..

I can say in all honesty that there's no sign of one in our R&D section.. unless they've hidden it from me

May be on the cards but I don't think it's in the pack

Not a short term possibilty. Dereks reply to the Heron question sort of answers this one too

Thanks for replying on my behalf guys ;-)

Chris...the Dove series 8 has been bubbling away on the back burner for a long time.

After releasing the earlier series I moved on to the Heron. Sav, who made a marvellous job of the panel, was working on the overheads for the series 8 when he went off radar...this was all part of the Air Atlantique Classic Flight project which sadly fell by the wayside.

I've always intended to complete the series 8, to quote DaveB: 'a gentleman's transport of the highest standard'....

..but I'm afraid, considering my other commitments, I can't say when.
