If this is done to the level of their C-130 then I'll certainly pay for it, probably a princely sum but I'll get a lot of hours of enjoyment out of it.
It looks bloody gorgeous, and I'm going to find it very difficult to resist. A perfect companion to Iris' forthcoming Vulcan.
The only thing that worries me about Captainsim is their poor aftersales reputation; such as if the download doesn't work, you can't get hold of them, emails go unanswered etc. Maybe an undeserved reputation, but thats the impression I get. Nevertheless I don't think I could keep my hands off that 'Buff'.
I must admit I've had no problems with Captainsim support (touch wood). Every time I've contacted them I've had a reply within 24 hours. In fact a few days ago I contacted them asking if they could release more layered .psd's containing the bits for the radar dish and suchlike on one of the more unusual C-130 variants and they complied, and re-uploaded the repaint kit with a brand new .psd as requested. Nothing but praise from me I'm afraid.
I think it's a case of 'Speak as you find' Paul. I've never had a problem with CS as far as downloads are concerned but equally so, that's the first 'success' story I've ever heard of from Chris. As is often the case, bad news travels fast and is more difficult to shake off than any good news but when you pay this much for a product (that is.. as much as you pay for a CS product) you tend to expect it to be right first time and don't make a song and shout about it if this happens ;-)
It's the luck of the draw. Just hope you never find yourself on the wrong end
This looks like one of those models that I would love to buy and mess around with but I know I wouldn't give it the attention it deserves if I bought it
