New Bush Plane In The Wings

Post by CBris »

Edit - sorry! I just realised something...

OK... re-edit! But on the advertising angle - it is a "plug" for my own work as I am on the development team as painter. There's at least 20 paints (both fact and fiction) in the pack - I have been busy ;-)

Anyway, the Found Brothers Aircraft FBA 2C Bushhawk is technically a bushplane, but most of the ones I can find info on are kept very clean... If you are interested in the real thing - www.foundair.com is the place to go - you can even download the original Pilot's Operating Handbook. We are now in mid Beta and the modelling is as reasonable as can be. Just some fixing of the dynamics, some gauge work and we expect to have a release candidate in maybe a couple or three weeks.

Because the plane itself is little known outside Canada and the US, there are a fair few fictional paints - here's some tasters:

Austria - Fictional

Factory paint - Real

Switzerland - Fictional

Interiors - worst case ( )

Flying Doctor, Australia - Fictional

and many more... I don't think "the Boss" (the guy behind the plane) will add the "worst case" interiors - he has a delicate tum, but the unused stuff will eventually find it's way to Avsim...

I took the text and images out - I suddenly realised that a: it wasn't British and b: it was advertising. My sincerest apologies for not following form.

Ten years ago, I had a holiday in Canada where the plan was to fly in as many floatplanes as possible - in the end managed 14 different aircraft including 2 FBA2Cs, including the Tudhope one mentioned in the manufacturers webpage link. Seeing this aeroplane brings back a lot of good memories.

Maybe I have missed it, but do you have the link to where I can have a look at this plane (Website its selling on) as I like the look of it,

Quite a fan of bush flying, but its not something I've done seriously since FS2002 days, it would be nice to have another go at it.

Thanks.

James.

EDIT - Shame, its FSX only, Ah Well!
