Real Environment Exreme - REX

Post by auster »

Has anyone been following the saga here

http://www.flightsimworld.com/forums/in ... pic=129098

This is page 1. The thread is now at page 112 but there are lots of screenshots on the way, although some seem to be a bit repetitive.

If it delivers what it promises, it will be an absolute stunner and probably the add-on of the year. The good news is that it will be available for FSX and FS2004.

If this is the one I think it is, its out already, (certainly the FSX version) I think its excellent. Been using it for 4 months or so now. I'll check when I get home. :)

I've only just moved up to GEPro for FS9 as it's being discounted for GE users  Anything that makes FSX look better than it is can only be a good thing ;-)

Ben,

REX and FEX are completely different programs. I have FEX and thought it was excellent until I found out about REX. It's going to be $40 for each version and it will include a flight planner and a weather warning module. It also includes a vast range of water textures as well as runway markings. It looks brilliant with photo real clouds and sunsets.
