Prop needs sorting

Post by J0hn »

Hi Guys

I have been desparately trying to sort out a solid rotating prop issue with the fantastic Sea Hurricane Mk.1B - which was built for FS9, but other than the prop, runs very well in FSX/SP2.

I've tried all my usual tricks and tested every other prop file that I have - and every glass file, for that matter, as it is only solid from the cockpit view, to no avail.

People mention alpha channel adjustments in various forums, but not what to adjust or how to do it - so I'm lost on that one.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, as I am very eager to fly this wonderful aircraft. Unfortunately, the docs included don't say who made the model, but it's obviously someone in the US, as it quotes US copyright laws.

Hi J0hn

It's probably the model

All depends.....some model you get away with but some not

I have to have a different material for the FS.X 170 over the FS.9 as the standard prop material does just what yoiu see on the Spit in FS.X

The transparency is part texture part material so there is only so far you can go

Morning Gary

that's a shame - it's otherwise such a nice model and aircraft.

Thanx

John
